Meggean Boisvert

Psychotherapist & Practice Owner

Let’s make space for all versions of you.

If you’ve landed here, you’re likely carrying a lot—and maybe you’re tired of pretending you’re fine when you’re really not. You don’t have to carry this alone. And, well, you probably want to figure out if I’m the right fit to support you through this process.

I believe everyone is inherently born good and that change takes time. I’ve often heard the phrase, “Oh, [enter name here] we’ll never change,” and I understand why people think that. Change is incredibly hard. Our brains are wired for safety, and to the brain, familiar often feels safer than better. Sometimes that means we don’t get to see the change unfold ourselves, but I hold onto hope that people find their way when they’re ready.

Together, we can unlearn old narratives that have kept you stuck and recreate a story that empowers you.

My approach is warm but direct. I’ll always be in your corner, and I’ll gently call out patterns that might be repeating themselves. I’ll hold space for us to ‘talk it out’, but talking alone can be retriggering and keep us more stuck. That’s why I integrate mind-body work too, helping you tune into your body, regulate your nervous system, and build insight that goes beyond traditional talk therapy.

In our work together, you can expect a mix of coping skills, somatic practices, thought-challenging techniques, and a place to explore your inner world—-with a little laughter along the way. Therapy isn’t always easy—-sometimes we’re facing parts of ourselves that feel uncomfortable. But it can also be a place to get curious, reconnect, and maybe show me a TikTok or two when we need a break from the ‘work’.

As a part of the queer and neurodivergent community, I am deeply affirming of these experiences, and I strive to create a space where you don't have to explain the basics—you can just show up as you are.

  • My career began in early childhood education—working in preschools from the age of 16—which sparked my passion for supporting children’s social and emotional development. I later volunteered at a sibling summer camp through Aid to Adoption of Special Kids (AASK), where they reunited siblings who were separated in the foster care system—an experience that shaped the course of my career. Shortly after, I began working with AASK’s sibling program, supporting adolescents in foster care.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I joined AmeriCorps NCCC, where I served communities across the U.S. through disaster relief and social-emotional programming in underserved schools. When my AmeriCorps term ended, I returned to AASK—this time working with kinship foster families. I provided trauma-informed caregiver support and advocated for families in courtrooms, Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, and IEPs. While my heart will always be rooted in supporting youth in foster care, I knew I wanted to expand my clinical knowledge, which led me to pursue my MSW in Colorado.

After graduate school, I worked in residential and PHP treatment settings, then transitioned into an outpatient group practice. Across these roles, I’ve facilitated therapy groups, supported parents through transitions, and provided both individual and family therapy. Today in my private practice, I work with teens, adults, and parents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. These diverse experiences shape how I show up in the therapy room—with empathy, curiosity, stability, and humility.

In addition to my private practice, I also provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through Noma. I find KAP to be a powerful tool—especially in supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression.

  • I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver.

I believe that strong therapists are always learning. I regularly pursue advanced trainings, stay connected with fellow therapists through consultation and peer support, and explore relevant research to deepen my understanding and refine my practice.

My Values — Both in Therapy and in Life

Compassion & Curiosity

Approaching each person’s story with warmth and openness and holding space for the complexity of being human. People tend to feel more comfortable sharing their beliefs when they are met with genuine curiosity and a desire to be understood.

Authenticity & Connection

True belonging happens when we no longer desire to merely ‘fit in’—when we can build a community that fosters resilience and self-acceptance. Being able to show up as our full self creates space for deeper, more meaningful relationships.

Inclusivity & Humility

Safe, affirming spaces can be life-changing, especially to LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities. I’m committed to advocating for equity while honoring each person’s voice, needs, and autonomy. That includes checking my own privilege and never assuming I know what’s best for someone else.

We can figure it out together — whenever you’re ready.
